Styrofoam Turntable DIY Kit
The basic idea behind this project was to design and engineer a low-cost do-it-yourself Turntable kit made out of high density styrofoam (Think styrofoam MDF!).

Part detail:

The design is straightforward with same measurements as an LP cover and the turntable base has the natural color of white styrofoam. The arm is CNC:d out of orange styrofoam.

Turntable specs:

• 45 / 33 rpm, with finetuning knob
• Built-in Speaker
• Built in Amplifier
• USB connection for transfering
audio to computer
• Effects Knob for Delay, Chorus
etc.
• Volume Knob
• RCA output
• 3.5mm Headphone output

Project Status:

The Styrofoam Turntable will not be produced and only one unit was built for research purpose.
